What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Reporting Specialist within our Lodging division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is in Lexington, KY. The Reporting Specialist is responsible for compiling data, assisting in reporting and analysis, and providing data insight and support to Lodging teams to help drive business decisions. The Reporting Specialist may also be a primary reporting point of contact for clients and customers who require regularly scheduled and/or ad-hoc reports.

  • Assigned workspace in the Lexington office.
  • Onsite training.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Monitoring, managing, and maintaining appropriate key performance indication metrics across the Lodging teams.
  • Collaborating with users to understand business intent, translate to data requirements, and deliver timely and accurate data to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Creating ad-hoc and regular reports based on user requirements.
  • Consistently delivering scheduled reports when due.
  • Providing professional customer service when interacting with clients and internal contacts.
  • Developing and maintaining a working understanding of client contractual requirements, and building and maintaining reporting that shows performance vs. these requirements.
  • Collaborating with users to understand business intent, translate to data requirements, and deliver timely and accurate data to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Tracking company performance vs. budgets/plans and analyzing fluctuations, risks, opportunities, etc.
  • Assisting in the creation of monthly business review presentations.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 or more years in a business, accounting, or analysis-related position.
  • Previous reporting experience preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Must have extremely strong Microsoft Excel skills and strong Microsoft Word skills.
  • Ability to develop, execute, manage, and maintain highly complex reports.
  • Ability to problem solve, develop & implement processes.
  • Comfort and experience retrieving and manipulating raw data from various databases for analytical work and reporting.
  • Ability to summarize, visualize, and present data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in compiling statistical information relative to Information Systems, Finance, or Statistics with an emphasis on SQL report generation a plus.
  • Ability to interpret/write SQL scripts a plus.
