Aboutthe role:
The general purpose of the National Accounts Representativeis to contact business owners (merchants) to offer products and servicesassociated with credit card processing. In addition, this individual identifiesand offers any added value services to generate additional revenue formerchants and customize pricing models that best fit their needs. Educatingmerchants on industry trends is another key element of this position. This roleoperates using a sales model platform that is designed to generate increasedrevenue for merchants.
Be a part of a teamwhere you will:
- Identify and approach prospective customers to secure the merchant's account.
- Enable integrated merchant processing by leading with technology gateways, ERP integration, and AR/AP software (a global scalable solution).
- Utilize Salesforce to generate new sales opportunities via cold calling and email.
- Develop trusting relationships with prospects.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
- Represent the company at tradeshows to develop Partner relationships and find new potential sales outlets.
- Keep merchants apprised throughout the signup process by providing status updates and answering any additional questions.
- Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements specified in the department's goals.
- Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA).
- Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
- Perform related projects and duties as assigned.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 2+ years of sales or strategic accounts management experience
- Proven performance of success and quota achievement
- Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
- Possess strong communication skills via phone and email
- Possess creative problem-solving skills and ability to use consultative approach
- Display a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy
- Ability to achieve sales goals on a consistent basis
- Possess an executive presence inclusive of strong communication and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows based computer applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, etc.) preferred
