This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Requirements Management Specialist for our Sacramento, CA office.
This position will be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
The Requirements Management Specialist provides support for requirements management and administration services. This role will also be supporting the management of the development and deployment of the verification and validation (V&V) of requirements process across the Program and different procurement contracts.
Your Impact
- Facilitate process discovery sessions to define, develop, standardize, implement, and document business processes throughout the program.
- Support the development and deployment of V&V and other Rail and Operations Delivery processes.
- Develop process maps/models, information flow diagrams, procedures, training materials, and other process-supporting assets.
- Support the management of the evaluation of the V&V process and tools and further streamline the process as necessary.
- Develop/Organize/Maintain Process training manuals and identifies opportunities and submits proposals for improvement with respect to tools, staff, users, training, process, procedures, and work instructions.
- Conducts business process reviews to ensure alignment between established business processes and changing business conditions, such as regulatory requirements, growth, etc.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional work experience.
- Experience with business processes, system engineering, integration and/or coordination in requirement management.
- Comfortable in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and databases.
- Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent business writing and reading comprehension skills.
- Experience working on federally funded, public works transportation projects.
- Familiarity with planning, environmental, engineering, and construction terminology.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Ability to present complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $79,100 - $182,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
