Research Analyst

• Event-driven, fundamental equity research in US and EMEA developed markets, specifically on the M&A, corporate actions, special situations, and index events landscapes.
• Fundamental research into dividend derivative products, to be integrated within a semi-systematic trading framework.
• Help create market monitors to screen for, analyze and interpret, and maintain a general framework around modelling events for an arbitrage-based strategy.
• Liaise with sell-side brokers/analysts for ad hoc content to complement existing data vendor feeds.
• Help advise on optimal trade implementations and work directly with broader team on execution of the strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM, Economics, or Finance.
• 3-6 years of experience. Some buy-side experience is preferred.
• Prior experience working with risk-arbitrage (i.e., special situations) focused strategies is preferred.
• Some exposure to SQL/Python a plus.
