Research Analyst, Equities

Summary

The purpose of this role is the researching of companies for Taiwan/Korea technology stocks as well as small cap stocks in Asia. Research is the cornerstone of our collaborative investment process; our analysts engage in creative, rigorous and long-term strategic analysis that is the basis for portfolio decisions.

Responsibilities

• Performing industry analysis
• Developing company forecasts
• Making investment recommendations based on a thorough understanding of key company, industry and market issues
• Collaborate with global teams within research department on fundamental research projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years prior working experience in equity research, including in corporate or consulting roles
• Good knowledge of corporate financial analysis, understanding of technology industry is a plus
• Excel skills
• Familiar with Bloomberg
• Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Mandarin
• Logical, analytical, and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize
• Problem-solving skills
• Shares best practice & ideas with others
• Team player
