The firm is seeking a Research Assistant to support the Investments team with a wide range of research and administrative tasks. The ideal candidates for this role will be resourceful, organized, and possess a high level of attention to detail. Given the role’s exposure, the ideal candidate also will have refined interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities
- Maintain complex and detailed calendars for the team
- Coordinate and manage both internal and external meetings
- Create and format PowerPoint presentations and proposals for meetings and presentations.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, ensuring all necessary documents and information are available
- Arrange and oversee intricate domestic and international travel plans
- Organize all facets of offsite conferences and external events
- Process invoices and T&E expense claims for team members, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Collaborate effectively with the administrative assistants team to ensure seamless support and operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint
- Experience in the finance industry or with alternative investments
- Demonstrated experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and proposals
- Experience with meeting preparation and coordination
CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
