Job Description

Protein Evolution is looking for a highly-organized Research Associate who is just graduating from university to join our scientific team to run high throughput assays. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to gain experience in a laboratory setting. As part of our team, your core responsibilities include:

• Running high throughput assays and analyzing data
• Interfacing with lab automation robots and software to run those assays
• Preparing biological reagents and buffer solutions for use in the laboratory
• Equipment maintenance
• Inventory management and tracking
• Working alongside scientists to assist in executing assay development experiments

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and experience in a laboratory setting (e.g. internships or research projects)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to complete tasks independently, accurately and on time
• Ability to conduct tests, experiments, and/or procedures following standard or detailed protocols
• Excellent written and oral communication
