The Labs product vertical was set up in early 2021 to facilitate the rapid ideation and iteration of new products and strategies. The core motto of the team is frugality and agility – using whatever is available to chip away at outcomes at breakneck speed.

As APIs continue to be the ubiquitous building blocks of software, there’s tremendous potential for AI to enable the next stage of productivity. This new, exciting initiative will focus on how we can incorporate artificial intelligence into Postman to continuously evolve and improve what our customers can achieve.

• Assess the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem to help guide Postman's roadmap.
• Be instrumental in setting up the foundations for effective and responsible use of AI within the team
• Guide decision making around product and engineering choices at Postman
• Research, explore and introduce artificial intelligence technologies and initiatives to extend the capabilities of our products.
• Conceptualize, build and experiment with new ideas and products that will impact millions of people around the world.
• Build functional prototypes and tools focused on improving developer productivity.
• Wear multiple hats; engineering, product, design (whatever might be needed to get the job done)
• Contribute to a plethora of internal and external open-source projects.

• An experienced product minded engineering expert who has the desire, flexibility and ability to wear multiple hats.
• Strong background  of building and shipping products.
• A love for creating APIs.
• Full stack expertise in React, and Node.js OR AI/Machine Learning engineering.
• Passion, and interest for AI
• Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion.
• You're comfortable working on 0-1 problems, especially when things are vague.
• You have a "validate first and perfect later" mentality.
• You are curious and excited about how things work under the hood.
• Self driven, self motivated, able to work independently.
• Committed to continuous development and learning.
