We have an opportunity available for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join a highly collaborative, innovative lab focused on tackling key questions in aging- and injury-associated changes in brain functions. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the lab by conducting rodent behavioral experimentsÂ
- Performing rodent blood collections, necropsies, and assisting with or independently performing surgeries
- Administering test agents to mice via multiple routes (tail IV, IP, PO)
- Reviewing research activities to determine where new information, methods, or collaborations could positively impact projects and improve efficiency of processes
- Developing innovative techniques and systems needed to meet the lab’s research goals
- Presenting own research updates with other team members
- Interfacing on a regular basis with lead scientific staff to present, organize, coordinate, and execute experimental work

Who You AreThe right candidate will possess the following skills and experience. The level of the position will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience in biomedical research, regenerative medicine, neuroscience, or related discipline
- 2+ years experience performing a variety of in vivo experiments involving mice or rats
- Experience in rodent handling, behavior, necropsy, and dosingÂ
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Committed to maintaining high standards for animal welfare
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in survival surgeries and sterile surgical techniques is a plus
Salary range: Research Associate I, 83,300-112,700; Research Associate II, 97,750-132,250; Senior Research Associate, 109,650-148,350
