This role focuses on:
As the Research and Experiments Lead within the Product Team, you will spearhead initiatives to optimize and enhance Search Atlas’s suite of SEO tools. In this leadership role, you will oversee the design and execution of experiments, analyze outcomes to derive strategic insights, and guide the integration of findings into product development. You will collaborate across teams, mentor junior analysts, and play a crucial role in shaping the product vision.

Key Requirements:

• Take ownership of the research and experimentation strategy,
  identifying opportunities to improve product functionality and user engagement. 
• Lead the design and implementation of complex experiments, such as A/B and multivariate testing, to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
• Analyze experimental data to generate actionable insights and present findings to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap. 
• Stay abreast of global and multilingual SEO trends, conducting in-depth research to uncover opportunities for innovation. 
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to implement improvements, advocating for a data-driven approach to product development.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation within the Product Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related discipline); or 6+ years in relevant industry experience. 
• Proven experience leading experimentation projects and using data to inform product strategy.
• Strong expertise in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and experimentation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of SEO tools, methodologies, and search engine algorithms, with a focus on global and multilingual contexts.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with product management tools and frameworks.
