About the Role:
Responsibilities:

• Innovative Research: Work alongside experienced researchers to develop and refine AI models, algorithms, and techniques to solve complex business challenges using AI technology.
• Collaborative Environment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to transform research findings into practical solutions that align with business needs.
• Learning and Growth: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI research, including areas like deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Leverage this knowledge to contribute fresh ideas to our projects.
• Experimentation and Evaluation: Design and execute experiments, build prototypes, and rigorously evaluate AI models to assess their effectiveness and real-world applicability.
• Communication: Contribute to team discussions and presentations, conveying complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Publication and Engagement: Contribute to research papers for conferences and journals, fostering your growth within the AI research community.
• Mentorship: Receive mentorship from experienced researchers and provide insights to other team members as you collectively drive innovation.

About You
Basic Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Recently graduated or scheduled to graduate this year with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Post-doctoral research experience is a plus.
• Passion for AI: Showcase your dedication to AI by sharing examples of your academic or personal AI projects and your excitement for exploring new AI possibilities.
• Publication Record: Have a strong record of publication in top AI conferences / journals, such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV, ICASSP, INTERSPEECH.
• Strong Foundation: Demonstrate a solid foundation in AI research principles and methodologies, as well as proficiency in programming languages like Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Collaborative Spirit: Illustrate your ability to work within a collaborative team environment and your eagerness to contribute fresh ideas.
• Problem-Solving: Highlight your problem-solving skills and your capability to approach research challenges with creativity and critical thinking.
• Fast-Paced Agility: Embrace a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, showcasing your ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively share your ideas and insights with various audiences.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$117,000.00
Maximum:
$233,900.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
