At MOMA Therapeutics, we are motivated by a single common goal, to discover and develop the next generation of novel precision medicines for patients through our singular focus: the therapeutic targeting of molecular machines.

Imagine joining a company where you….

  • Will be part of an experienced and resilient team that is collectively unstoppable, trusts one another, and selflessly collaborates
  • Will be part of a team comprised of incredible humans who are committed to the discovery of transformative medicines for cancer patients
  • Can be the CEO of your own role and master of your own craft
  • Are needed… because the work you will do is critical to the success of the company, and because patients are counting on you

About the role...

  • Build efficient and reliable data pipelines for diverse data sources and modalities to enable, among other things, AI/ML model building
  • Deploy, evaluate and apply cutting-edge research algorithms to enable MOMA’s research aims (e.g. AlphaFold)
  • Collaborate with the Computational Biology and Chemistry groups to help build core informatics infrastructure, tooling, and software development processes
  • Develop scalable and secure data infrastructure supporting data engineering and data science workflows
  • Play an important role in establishing standards and best practices for development, testing, and deployment of custom application
  • Evangelize data governance best practices and FAIR data principles across the organization

About you…

  • You have a desire to sit at the interface of informatics, computational sciences, and drug discovery teams and have demonstrated the ability of translating cutting-edge informatics tools and approaches into practice
  • You like reading bioRxiv papers and implementing associated algorithms
  • You have a BS in computer science/ engineering and preferably some background in life sciences (e.g., chemistry)
  • You bring 2-4 years of relevant experience in biotech
  • You can deliver well-structured, maintainable code with automated tests
  • You have experience working in a cloud environment (AWS), containerization (Docker), and discernment on appropriate utilizations of such services (Batch, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
  • You are proficient in backend applications and APIs and data engineering with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, and are familiar with the principals of task and workflow processing frameworks such as Celery, Airflow, Prefect, etc.
  • You work hard, you are kind to others, and you enjoy being a part of a kick-ass collaborative team that gets stuff done
  • You enjoy being in an environment where scientific data rules the day
