The Opportunity:
As we continue to enhance our capacity to provide human centered, technology forward primary care across the nation, the teams that support this work are also growing! We are seeking to hire a Residency Recruiting Lead, a new role that will focus on collaborating with residency program directors, One Medical clinical leadership, and talent acquisition to build a comprehensive provider recruitment strategy. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Sourcing, your expertise in university recruitment, team leadership and talent engagement will be essential in ensuring the continued growth and success of our program. Highly cross-functional, you will have the opportunity to lend your expertise to other impactful programs, such as Talent Branding, D&I initiatives and Interviewing Training.You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute effective residency and clinical learner recruitment strategies that align with One Medical’s values and goals.
As a Residency Recruiting Lead, you take pride in developing innovative and creative ways to engage with residents and providers early on in their careers. You have the ability to understand the nuances of the business you support, and stay abreast of the changes and evolution of healthcare. Goal oriented, you understand that success isn’t always linear, but is driven by data. Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team, you are organized, timely, efficient, and set a high bar for quality. What you will work on:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified primary care physicians from family and internal medicine residency programs.Â
- Partnering with our Director of Academic Talent to recruit and onboard medical learners from top tier medical schools and training programs.Â
- Leverage recruiting knowledge, recruitment results and competitive market intelligence to drive strategies and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs
- Leverage data to assess outcomes and influence ongoing recruitment strategies
- Actively participate in internship program planning and execution
- Develop networks of residents and residency program directors and coordinators.Â
- Conduct pre-screen interviews, set expectations about the particular role and process, and effectively position One Medical for residents.Â
- Actively iterate with internal stakeholders and recruiting team to continually improve sourcing, recruitment and hiring processes
- Ensure necessary documentation is added into the ATS for each candidate
- Monitor market trends and developments within residency recruitment, making recommendations as necessary to improve effectiveness of messaging.
- Work closely with talent marketing to ensure proper messaging is being marketed to candidates at events and engagements.Â
- Oversee partnerships with residency programs and events to build out the clinical talent pipeline.
What you’ll have:Â
- 5 + years of experience leading university or residency recruiting programs
- 3 + years of experience planning and executing on university or recruiting events
- Display a proven ability to think critically and problem-solve to develop scalable and maintainable solutions
- Have unwavering drive to deliver a candidate-first experience
- Show evidence of hitting stretch hiring goals over multiple requisition types
- Attentively listen to others and adjust to fit the audience and the message
- Readily tackle tough assignments and face difficult issues and supports others who do the same
- Show consistency between words and actions; gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Have high detail-orientation, and never let things fall through the cracks.

This is a full time remote role based in the United States with approximately 10-20% travel.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $161,000. However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for certain roles may also include additional components such as a sign-on bonus, annual performance bonus, equity grants in the form of RSUs, medical and other benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
