Residential Construction General Laborer

WHO WE ARE We are team of a top notch realtor, a general contractor, a home stager and investors that are managing several home renovation projects in a fairly shortly window of time. We have 3-4 different properties in the La Grange area that we seek to finish by October and are hiring and subcontracting immediately. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a skilled and experienced GENERAL LABORER/CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST to execute residential build outs with focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Perform rough and finish carpentry includingframing, trim work, door installation, window installation to a high standard • Handlelight electrical and plumbing tasksas needed • Layinsulation or vapor barriersas needed • Assist withtile work,drywall, sanding/patching and otherinterior finishes • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment • Communicate with crew lead and project managers respectfully Requirements: • 3+ years of construction or remodeling experience with a portfolio of projects you can share with us (basic photos will work to start) • Strong carpentry and handyman skills (and strong problem solving skills) • Ability to work independently with simple directions • Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Basic tools preferred (but not required) • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Bonus Skills (BUT Not Required): • Experience with reading blueprints and drawings • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Polish) Why Join Us: • Competitive pay • Growth opportunities as we are constantly expanding projects • Diverse range of projects with new challenges/opportunities each day • Supportive team environment with a group of good people that like what we do. • Bonuses for exceptional work TO APPLY: • We are hiring and interviewing immediately for work currently underway • Please submit your resume and brief work history • Be prepared to share referrals to clients whom you’ve done work for or other contractors you’ve worked with.
