Resource Management Associate

About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Resource Management Associate, you will:
- Manage the resource schedule to adequately enable project activities and identify scheduling conflicts
- Monitor project progress with PMs to align scheduling activities and advise how to resolve scheduling issues; Provide recommendations to PMs and Resource Management peers regarding techniques to create bandwidth and increase scheduling efficiencies
- Under minimal direction, evaluate whether PS resources are maintained at acceptable billable and productive utilization levels; Prepare management recommendations and reports regarding usage, availability, productivity, and billability. Regularly evaluate and compare planned/scheduled hours against actual resource time required to successfully execute projects
- Expedite project initiation activities for new Service Requests (SR) and confirm details with clients to identify possible schedule impacts and dependencies
- Project Management Support: Enforce time approval deadlines to ensure accurate and complete time submission, matched with scheduled efforts, and resource utilization goals.
- Seek opportunities and engage in efforts to improve quality and efficiency in resource management and related delivery efforts; Research opportunities to improve business analytics and processes related to resource management, allocation, and utilization.
- Suggest and contribute to overall training/cross-training programs based on forecasted resourcing needs, ensuring the right resource, with the right skillsets, available at the right times
- Arrange weekly meetings with Legal Professional Services team to discuss all active/ highly visible projects and potential new business as well as to stay informed of resource issues and change control matters
- Manage resourcing forecast spreadsheets for Legal Professional Services based on input from weekly meetings
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Resource Management Associate if you:
- Have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in resource/project management
- The ideal candidate is a hardworking and highly organized professional, who has solid skills and experience in resource planning and project management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined process steps is required. Strong administrative background is preferred
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
- Ability to manage change effectively and with a positive attitude
- Preferred background within Legal Industry

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $70,700 - $131,300. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
