Reporting to the RM Leader, the Resource Manager will be a key member of the Global HR (Human Resources) team and will work closely with the Center of Excellence Leadership team to drive strategic staffing decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT consulting or professional services environment. This is a full-time/permanent and remote position that can sit anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Work in partnership with VP's, Practice Leaders, Finance, Business Operations, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition to acquire, assess, develop, and deploy internal/external resources with the right skills at the right time.
  • Analyzes trends in forecasted versus actual utilization to monitor and influence key performance metrics.
  • Analyzes future demand for resources based on staffing needs of existing projects, project pipeline opportunities, and future needs to support presales opportunities.
  • Establishes schedule variance process, PTO usage process, overburn/overallocation analysis process, at the direction of the RM leader.
  • Provides Utilization Trend Analysis to business leadership.
  • Owns the staffing of a specified talent pool across multiple COE's (business lines) with accountability for resource utilization.
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets to drive informed decision-making.
  • Drives staffing approach for delivery of existing projects as well as new business opportunities.
  • Minimizes usage of third-party contractors except as required to meet strategic needs of the business.
  • Influences the labor mix (pyramid structure, low-cost usage, third party usage, and utilization) to support business objectives.
  • Recommends client engagement assignments to promote the enhancement of employees' skills and development of competencies needed to support the business.
  • Measured on key indicators such as forecast accuracy, utilization, and pyramid mix.
  • Responsible for staffing and forecasting while strategically planning the appropriate workforce mix for future growth.
  • Collaborate with RM Analyst to ensure seamless information sharing when external contractors are needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • BS Degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Resource Management in a professional services environment.
  • Prior experience in onshore/offshore/near shore delivery models a plus.
  • Experience using OpenAir for Resource Management a plus or a similar PSA tool.
  • Experience with Reporting Tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau
  • Prior experience with systems re-design and process modernization a plus.
  • Skilled in Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, standard formulas), PPT and Word Templates.
  • Experience with Change Management across a large stakeholder group advantageous.
