Job Overview:
The Resource Management Manager is crucial in overseeing and optimizing the allocation and estimation of resources across projects and departments. This role ensures efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project goals and deadlines. Additionally, the Resource Management Manager will oversee the hiring process, identify staffing needs, and address technology gaps within the team. Collaboration with project managers, department heads, and stakeholders will be key in aligning resource availability with project requirements, monitoring usage, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Resource Planning & Allocation: Oversee the planning, allocation, and estimation of resources for projects and departments to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Optimization: Optimize the utilization of personnel, maintaining the bench to avoid over-allocation or underutilization.
• Estimation & Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate resource estimates for new projects and create resource forecasts and capacity plans.
• Hiring & Staffing: Identify hiring needs based on bench forecasts and project requirements. Oversee the recruitment process, to get the right person onboard.
• Technology Gap Management: Identify and address technology gaps within the team, ensuring the right skills and expertise are available to meet project demands.
• Data Analysis: Analyse historical data and metrics to improve estimation accuracy, forecasting, and resource management practices.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and department heads to align resources with project needs and adjust plans based on project changes and priorities.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor resource usage and availability, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and refine resource management processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to resource allocation, addressing conflicts and issues proactively to minimize project disruptions. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of proven experience in resource management, planning, or similar roles, including hiring and staffing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
