BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's degree or above in a field appropriate to the work of the position.
- Proven experience that demonstrates the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully run a program with significant responsibilities and supervise a team.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in positive work relations in a team environment.
- Ability to listen, receive and incorporate ideas, and successfully work as part of a management team by keeping leadership informed of program information and issues in a timely manner.
- Proven ability to innovate, practice critical thinking skills, and demonstrate and maintain emotional intelligence.
- Ability to communicate on a professional level orally, in writing, and on social media.
- Knowledge of the military lifestyle and military family support programs to provide services for the needs of a large, diverse, military and civilian population.
- Ability to interpret congressional and DoD regulations that apply to Navy and Marine Corps programs.
- Ability to analyze program effectiveness through a variety of reports and incorporate change, innovation, and national best practices for the FPR Program and services to customers.
- Ability to brief large audiences, high level officials, and diffuse customer issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to carry out EEO policies and procedures and train staff in the knowledge and implementation of the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act.
