SCOPE:
The Results Retrieval Specialist is responsible for the retrieval of missing and/or incomplete examination results. Strong documentation, interpretation, and follow-up are essential activities of this position. Interacts daily with providers staff members and Acuity employees and managers internally. Expected to maintain the highest level of customer service; answering telephone inquiries and/or requests relating to needed examination results, ensuring all requests are retrieved and scanned for delivery in a timely manner.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity is recognized

This position is based in Cape Canaveral, FL with the possibility of remote.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to retrieve urgent examination results and properly track these records in the ticket tracking system.
• Must maintain relevant knowledge of the exam paperwork for all active CHS contracts.
• Responsible for controlling and coordinating all examination results received through the high volume virtual mailroom. 
• Performs retrieval, sorting, scanning, and delivery of all types of received and/ or requested examination results in alignment with HIPAA regulations.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma
• Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products, required. 
• Medical, dental, or healthcare and/or insurance experience desired.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Acuity proprietary systems, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• Work involves sitting for prolonged periods of time.
• May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
