A Little About the Role:
We're looking for a Retail Marketing Coordinator to support Ooni's growth with some of the largest and most influential retailers, including Best Buy, Williams Sonoma, Ace Hardware, and Crate & Barrel, to name a few. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager, the Retail Marketing Coordinator will work alongside our awesome and talented Head of Retail Marketing, Retail Marketing Manager, and US Sales Team to deliver top-notch trade marketing strategies. This includes supporting new oven and accessory launches and briefing in seasonal creative requests for key occasions like Ooni Day, Father's Day, and Black Friday.
This position is essential to ensure that the Retail Marketing Team operates smoothly. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, a keen marketing sense, and the confidence to handle inquiries about Ooni's retail marketing plans and strategies. The role involves collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify crucial marketing opportunities, fulfill retailer requests, optimize online and in-store merchandising, and support our training and development initiatives. All while having fun and eating pizza!!
What you'll do:

  • You'll oversee and manage our national retailer training and Pizza Captain programs. As the master of our LMS platform, you'll be in charge of keeping the content fresh and exciting, managing enrollments with ease, and putting your creative skills to work by developing new content flows that keep our program ahead of the curve. Think of yourself as the ultimate pizza education cheerleader!
  • As part of your role, you will keep tabs on how we show up online and in stores and then share your observations with the rest of the team. This isn't just your average snooping gig - you'll get to use your creativity to come up with ways to refine our presence and make us even better.
  • You have a great eye for marketing and are confident in giving clear guidance to our design, videography, and copywriting teams when it comes to requesting assets. Teamwork makes the dream work - You will create requests to boost the promotion of our holidays and major selling events. Additionally, you will be briefing in evergreen selling tools that highlight the unique selling points of our range of ovens and accessories.
  • You know email marketing platforms (Klaviyo/FreshMarketer) like the back of your hand and will have no problem taking charge of our wholesaler communication lists. You can create excellent email marketing content that speaks directly to our retail network to share news of upcoming promotions, new marketing assets, and product launches
  • You have organization and administration in the bag! You will handle tasks ranging from tracking and filing retailer agreements and invoices to updating retailer presentations to managing user access to our external marketing portals (Brandfolder, FieldAgent, POS portal). And you're confident with it comes to numbers, as we need your help on budget tracking and invoice payment submissions.
  • Remember when we said cheerleader above? Well, we might literally ask you to cheer for Ooni! JK-kinda! You'll work closely with our awesome Events Managers to plan and participate in some food events, trade shows, and retailer demos!


Occasionally, this position will lend retail marketing expertise to support our Neighbors To The North and one of our newest regions - Canada.
The rest of the time, you will be tackling all tasks related to the operations and success of the Retail Marketing Team. This includes campaign reporting, sample shipping requests, cooking in meetings, and managing external vendor communications. All while mastering how to make some seriously delicious pizza!
What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in the marketing industry, with at least 2 years of related Marketing experience
  • Experience working with retailers developing marketing strategies, customized marketing programs, and retailer activations
  • Solid understanding of in-store visual merchandising and an ability to bring the brand to life across various channels consistently and on budget
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-starting mentality with the ability to create strategy and drive results without close supervision
  • You are able to work both independently and with the team in an office with a hybrid schedule
  • Team-first orientation
