JOB SUMMARY

As the Retail Operations Manager, you will create, lead, and deliver multiple regional and national operations initiatives. Reporting to the Retail Operations Director, you will own end to end management of key retail initiatives with strong collaboration from cross-functional retail partners including compliance, legal, training and communication. You will need to lead and understand multiple projects, processes, competing timelines, and priorities to deliver the most impactful solutions to our retail partners. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, understanding complex retail objectives, deliverables and timelines. Strategic thinking and the ability to prioritize will be necessary to focus on the most impactful items for the field.

CORE JOB DUTIES 

  • Lead, track, and manage key regional & national retail ops initiatives including management of project timelines, stakeholder deliverables, and cross functional partners.
  • Oversee assigned retail initiatives from initial kick off to delivery, with a focus on interdisciplinary integration and communication
  • Provide strategic context, creative problem-solving mindset, and flexibility to solve vague, yet complex problems
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria
  • Plan and manage project communications with key stakeholders to keep them informed as well as escalate critical issues for timely resolution
  • Serving as the common thread on retail operations projects, timelines and status updates
  • Provide guidance and influence decision-making processes, resolving conflicts and obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Retail Ops team members to ensure training and communication needs are supported
  • Serve as a liaison for Retail Operations between corporate partners, regional support and store teams
  • Build strong positive relationships with our retail partners, stores and employees
  • Evaluate initiatives and create an order of importance depending on impact to the business

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS  

  • 5-7+ years prior management experience in an operations role
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a retail environment
  • 3+ years of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience in a leadership role and ability to build relationships is required
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate field needs
  • Should possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
