Retail Pharmacist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate, detail oriented Pharmacist to join our well-established independent pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, ensuring medication accuracy, and maintaining a positive relationship with healthcare professionals. We are accepting applications for full time and part time positions, and some benefits are for full time positions only. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions for appropriateness. • Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans. • Monitor patient health and medication efficacy, offering guidance as needed. • Implement company initiatives to increase profitability • Work with staff to develop and maintain clinical billing opportunities • Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products. • Uphold a commitment to compassionate care, addressing patient concerns with empathy. • Accurately maintain controlled substance inventory records. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) required. • Valid pharmacist license • Certification to administer vaccinations • Multilingual individuals encouraged, but not necessary • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing • Knowledge of PioneerRX PMS, or ability to quickly learn on the fly Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift Application Question(s): • Are you applying for a part time position or a full time position?
