a Retention Marketing Manager who will own the overall strategy, day to day operation and deliverables of the email, SMS and push marketing channels. You will be responsible for SPO’s message communication marketing performance. By closely working with multi cross-functional teams and departments to develop and implement overall content and email marketing strategy, you will drive subscriber growth as well as develop segmentation strategies and execution plans per channel.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement content marketing strategy with focus on email channel
- Directly manage email and SMS campaigns and communicate company brands through email marketing
- Work closely with brand acquisition, merchandising and other marketing teams to identify our target campaign audience and grow the subscriber list for both email and SMS channels
- Carry out segmentation of the database and implement remarketing strategies
- Plan and conduct A/B testing on email and SMS channels to identify the best practice among target audience
- Plan, execute and manage all email and text campaigns and constantly look for optimizing channel performance
- Work with leadership to determine goals and create strategies for content to align objectives
- Plan, manage and report the forecast of message volume and message cadence, including monthly/weekly/daily forecasting
- Analyze current email and SMS marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
- Work closely with creative team and coordinate all campaign designs for appropriate content channels

- 4+ years experience in Marketing focusing on email and SMS within an ecommerce or retail environment (fashion a plus!)
- Experience with ESP (Klaviyo a plus)
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong business acumen with understanding of online retail consumer behavior
- Ability to handle change, learn and keep abreast of new technology
- Very collaborative, putting the shared team goals first
Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000
Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills and expertise, location, and internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, and a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
