What you’ll do:
We are dedicated to serving our policyholders and injured workers by bringing injured workers back to work on modified duty safely when their provider indicates they are ready.
What you can expect:
- Respond to referrals from claims, MCM’s, safety services, providers or others to work with policyholders to return injured employees to work on formal or verbal offer of modified duty
- Use available resources to proactively identify claims for RTW services.
- Work with policyholder to ensure understanding of benefits of modified duty and facilitate appropriate methods of offering modified duty
- Work with policyholder to create and send task letter to applicable parties, and/or return to work documents to policyholder to comply with regulatory requirementsÂ
- Work with Providers to assure safety of modified duty and timely response
- Obtain job offer information from policyholder to complete job offer, obtain policyholder signature and forward to appropriate parties for timely mailing
- Provide stakeholder on-site or virtual review to create modified duty work which complies with prescribed work restrictions creating high level of customer service and reducing claim costs
- Facilitate communication to resolve questions between injured worker and policyholder to assist with successful return to work outcomes
- Collaborate with claims representative and medical case managers on claims to strategize and identify appropriate return to work options to avoid and reduce litigationÂ
- Contact policyholders and agents to discuss benefits, provide education, implement return to work program to work to reduce claim costs
- Champion on going learning to ensure best in class for industry leading trends and technology to create value to our internal and external customers
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. Relevant work experience (similar kind of work at a similar level of work as described in the essential duties) may be substituted for the degree. Completion of a degree is encouraged and supported. 2 years of experience working with policyholders or working in some capacity directly with the business community. 2 years experience within workers compensation insurance preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $62,000-$65,600. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
