Revenue Accountant

About the opportunity

We are seeking a detailed-oriented, motivated, self-driven individual that has a proven track record of success in a fast paced environment. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated individual looking to advance their career in accounting within a high-growth SaaS company.

What to expect?

• Key player in our period-end close process for accounts receivable and revenue
• Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations to ensure close timelines are met
• Analyze fluctuations of responsible accounts
• Manage the timeliness and accuracy of customer payment and credit memo application to outstanding balances in Accounts Receivable and oversee the overall integrity of the Accounts Receivable subledger including aging buckets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Order-to-Cash and our broader accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
• Support customer contract reviews to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment and set up of customer orders and deferred revenue schedules
• Complete customer setups such as vendor forms, portal registration, etc. 
• Participate in ad hoc project requests and business initiatives as needed.

What you need to be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• Foundational understanding of accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
