Revenue Accountant

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Revenue Accountant to join our team, someone who is passionate about delivering quality results and is ready to grow with us. In this role, you’ll take charge of key Accounting and Finance tasks, including Sales, COGS, Gross Margin, Revenue Recognition, Receivables, Credit and Collections, and Sales Tax. You’ll also contribute to important Finance Department projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in your work as you prepare, reconcile, verify, and present financial information both internally and within our corporate group.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintain revenue recognition and invoicing processes
• Tracking deferred revenue and forecast revenue recognition under ASC 606, perform prior period variance analysis and annotated reporting
• Verifying compliance with contract terms, schedules, and agreements
• Preparing, reconciling, and verifying accounting information to contribute to accuracy and timeliness of the Company's financials
• Providing high quality, timely support and problem resolution for the organization’s goals and financial results
• Preparing technical accounting memos as appropriate.
• Providing support for the annual audit
• Building and maintaining ongoing inter and intra-departmental working relationships to assist team members and focus on driving team and organizational goals
• Process Improvement and Project Management
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 2-5 years previous experience; project-based ASC 606 accounting experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• CPA License strongly preferred and CGMA designation preferred
• High level of ethical integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Strong computer skills including Excel
• Strong knowledge of ERP accounting software required; Jamis Prime experience is a plus
• Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions
• Ability to effectively present information on a regular basis to management, and others as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note: Base salary range is $4,000 USD Monthly. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
