Revenue Accountant (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant to support our revenue recognition processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist with the billing and collections functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in revenue accounting, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.

The candidate must possess critical thinking and communication skills. This person will work closely with our cross-functional teams, assist with revenue close accounting activities, and help improve the month-end close process.

Please note, this will be a 1099 fixed term contract for approximately 3 months.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with sales, and sales operations to assist in applying revenue recognition treatment for all products and services
• Review sales order contracts for accuracy and alignment in the ERP system
• Assist with customer invoicing 
• Support month-end and quarter-end close items related to Billing, Revenue, and Collections, including hands-on responsibilities for deliverables 
• Help maintain appropriate internal controls
• Assist with projects related to financial systems and business processes, including enhancements to NetSuite and Salesforce
• Partner with the Billing & Collections Analyst and provide support as needed
• Any other tasks that may be assigned to help the company meet its goals

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other finance related concentration
• 2+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting and Billing
• Basic understanding of ASC 606 and the ability to research information as needed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proactive problem solver; detail-oriented, self-motivated

Nice To Haves/Other

• Experience working with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management preferred
• SaaS industry experience preferred

The hourly range for this position is $53.00 to $72.00. FloQast reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
