Revenue Accounting Manager

Our client—a fast-growing, engineering-led energy company—is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to take ownership of revenue recognition, AR, and collections. This is a key role on a lean, high-impact accounting team that supports a business solving critical challenges in the power grid and energy infrastructure space. What You’ll Do: • Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract reviews, journal entries, and reconciliations • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and collections, collaborating with Sales and Product teams • Maintain accurate billing processes and customer records • Perform monthly account reconciliations (AR, unbilled, deferred revenue, etc.) • Prepare reports on aging, KPIs, and collections forecasts • Support audit requests and drive process improvements • Help scale the invoice-to-cash process in a fast-paced, growing environment What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required • 5+ years of experience in accounting (public/private mix ideal) • Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606) • Experience in high-growth or high-volume environments a plus • Comfortable working in-office with a strong sense of ownership and urgency • Bonus points for familiarity with systems like QuickBooks, Ramp, or Odoo If you’re energized by meaningful work and want to help build a next-generation energy company from the ground up, this could be your opportunity.
