Revenue Accounting Operations - Manager

Description

Are you a seasoned Accountant looking for a challenging role within a growing organization? Zywave is looking for a well rounded Manager to manage the day-to-day revenue contract accounting and overall project management related to non-standard contracts. In this role, you will ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with applicable US GAAP (ASC 606).

What you will do

• Develop process and supporting systems to capture and manage non-standard and complex customer contract, invoicing, and revenue recognition transactions
• Read and understand contracts in order to drive necessary business decisions to invoice and collect cash
• Manage large volumes of data within Excel
• Identify and lead revenue and bill/pay optimization projects including M&A integrations
• Develop and oversee audit process to validate variable usage/consumption and tier pricing arrangement inputs
• Assist with preparation of year-end audit and reporting information
• Other ad hoc revenue accounting projects

Factors for Success

• 5+ years of professional experience in CPA audit practice or SaaS revenue management
• Bachelors degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Billing, Intacct, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
• A positive attitude and strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead others with assigned projects
