Job Description
The Revenue Analyst will manage the revenue tracking and reconciliation process. The role is responsible for identifying and reporting issues, as well as providing support to key stakeholders and business partners for resolution. The Analyst utilizes the data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting revenue data and performance metrics. Leveraging facts and data, the Analyst identifies trends, supports business resolution, and develops knowledge of business opportunities and risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracks revenue activities from various sources throughout the process in different cycles
Revenue Tracking: Understands the business model and revenue sources, and monitors activities and identify issues.
Leverages tools to reconcile expected revenue against actual payments received; gain understanding on business specific knowledge on processes and challenges, as well as report on anomalies
Revenue Analysis: Uses deep understanding of objectives, issues and root causes and provides insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex problems. Assists with the creation of predicative models, research and analyses of trends, leading indicators, and business statistics
Utilizes data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting revenue data and performance metrics
Business Partnering: Partners with Key Stakeholders and Business Partners to drive effective solutions/execution. Constructively communicates based on facts and data
Builds working relationships with business management and other partners in support of issue identification and resolution through analytics
Operating Process Improvements: Supports management to create process improvements that provides visibility into business results to enable business decisions
Assists with process improvement projects as directed
Management Reporting and Miscellaneous Activities: Produces and distributes recurring and ad hoc management reports. Ensures adequate control environment to mitigate business risks in collaboration with process owners
Leverages recurring and ad hoc management reporting to identify trends and understands opportunities and risks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- BS - Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
- 3 - 5 Years of Experience in Finance or Accounting
- Cognos/Hyperion and Tableau experience
- Decision Making/Judgment - Uses discretion - evaluation.
- Accountability - Errors may cause delay, expense and disruption and affects the accuracy, quality and validity of an analysis.
