The Finance Team:

The Finance team at JWP plays a big part in the company's continued success. Our Finance team works closely with various internal stakeholders to discuss business performance and help identify areas of growth in revenue. Over the last few years, JWP has grown our global footprint exponentially and almost every team looks to Finance to provide operational and analytical insights to help us continue growing strategically. 

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Revenue Associate with working knowledge of IFRS and/or ASC606 and revenue recognition to join small power packed team. Working closely with internal stakeholders in our Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance and senior management, this individual is at the pinnacle of making massive impacts to the continuous growth of the business. As a Revenue Associate, you will:

• Complete primary review and validate all executed contracts, confirming compliance with internal policies, ASC 606 and/or IFRS, GAAP, and best practices
• Ensure all information required for order submission is documented and accurate
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Finance and Sales Operations to ensure efficient, timely and accurate invoice processing and resolution of discrepancies
• Calculate and record prepaid commissions on a monthly basis.
• Calculate and distribute commission statements to the sales organization.
• Ensure internal and external client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, discrepancies and contract clarification requests are fully resolved in a timely fashion with a high level of satisfaction
• Partner with Sales Operations to facilitate any subsequent changes or adjustments requested by Sales or Client and use discretion in determining course of action
• Comply with SLA response times for contract approvals, invoicing and client inquiries
• Manage daily posting of customer payments
• Assist with monthly close and annual financial audit
• Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as requested by management

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of billing experience
• Experience working in SaaS environment
• Understanding of and ability to apply GAAP and/or IFRS principles
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or ASC 606 revenue recognition standard including deferred revenue
• Exceptional Excel skills (V-LOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Experience working with Salesforce CRM and a subscription billing system
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and G-Suite.
• Extraordinary customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Highly motivated and results-driven
• Ability to leverage good judgment in problem-solving and issue escalation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and G-Suite.
