Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Revenue Associate, Full Time/Day position for Patient Accounting!

This is a Full Time position with Day shift hours and great benefits!

This position is based out of Norfolk, VA (Military Highway office) and has a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in office.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Performs Revenue Integrity duties to maintain dual Chargemaster files to ensure financial records are complete and accurate.
• Process Adds, Changes, Reactive and Inactive in Chargemaster for all facilities. Reconcile the data in the Chargemaster to ensure the files for accuracy.
• Revenue Integrity works with clinical staff to research any charge errors on their work queues to ensure they are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.

Required qualifications:

• One (1) year of Revenue Cycle experience is required.
• Data Entry, keyboarding and excellent customer service skills required
• High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Epic and CDM experience is preferred
