Revenue Assurance Specialist

Identifies opportunities within charge capture practices for enhanced revenue within regulatory requirements. Monitors for patterns and trends within work queues and initiates action as appropriate. Facilitates consistent charge capture across the system by developing revenue assurance charge correction procedures, policies and focus audits, as well as developing and maintaining hospital billing resources and providing education for clinical caregivers. Partners with other departments to maintain and enhance the integrity of charge capture structures within the electronic medical record. Represents Aurora Health Care during external defense audits.
