The Revenue Cycle Management Capability, Analyst is responsible for defining and supporting business processes and transactions consistent with the business unit requirements and strategic direction of Baxter. Revenue Cycle Management is a critical capability that we are continuing to expand in several of our businesses that have direct responsibility for leading and processing the claims directly from our patients. This position is relied upon to understand the business needs, craft a solution that can be enabled in our revenue cycle management systems, and be a trusted advisor on how to better drive efficiency and value through this capability. This includes coordination with other Business Analysts to identify and include all areas affected by the requirements. You will focus on specific functions of the business division they is assigned to support.

What you'll be doing

• Act as a liaison between business users and system development and configuration authorities, within our revenue cycle management systems and as it works with Enterprise Software systems, including, but not limited to JD Edwards.
• Ensure business requirements are implemented and supported within the systems.
• Perform tactical planning and execution in alignment with strategic business direction.
• Translate business requirements into assignments and tasks, developing a project plan with tasks, resource requirements, timelines, dependencies, and budget, as necessary depending on size.
• Supply an application and technical perspective to business users on proposed changes in business processes.
• Handle and lead projects as appropriate.
• Lead upgrade cycles for our revenue cycle management systems.
• Resolve integration requirements for projects/tasks and engage the IT Business Applications team to acquire appropriate resources.
• Develop and implement a testing strategy and stay in sync with the requirements of SDLC change control process.
• Build cutover planning to ensure detailed integration of new processes and changes into existing business applications.
• Promote common system solutions and processes across divisional units wherever possible.
• Participate in project implementations.
• Supervise and validate data accuracy and integrity.
• Lead system and data security initiatives for all applications, working with the appropriate cybersecurity teams as authorities in the field.

What you'll bring

• BA/BS in Computer Information Systems or Business Management or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years business experience working in an enterprise application systems environment required
• Detailed knowledge of large, integrated enterprise application information systems required.
• Ability to model business processes within enterprise application systems required.
• Must have Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and revenue cycle management systems strongly preferred.
• SOX and segregation of duties (SOD) experience preferred.
• Experience of Medical Industries and/or a highly regulated environment strongly preferred.
• Proven project management skills and experience preferred.
• Change management experience preferred.
• Experience in System Compliance and Security of Business Applications and data preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
