Sentara Healthcare is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Revenue Cycle Manager

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This is an resident (on site) position in Norfolk, Virginia. Some travel is required

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for planning, procedures and implementation of all functions relating to the financial aspects of Revenue Cycle Billing which includes management and development of staff. The Revenue Cycle Manager will participate in activities for the design, development, and implementation of process improvement systems, tools to enhance operations and control reports for all revenue cycle departments. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for adhering to all regulatory guidelines related to revenue cycle management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Level Degree
  • 4 years Revenue Cycle experience required in lieu of Bachelor degree.
  • 3+ years of Revenue Cycle Billing experience Required.
  • Proven track record leading projects or identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Able to appropriately manage conflict.
  • Develop and mentor others, builds team and brings people together around task.
  • May require travel.
