Position SummaryHuron’s Healthcare Technology Services Group (HTSG) works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our Senior Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.
What You Will Do:
As a Senior Hourly Consultant, you will partner with healthcare clients, IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their Epic EHR system. You will assess, identify and provide solutions during implementation and optimization to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. As the technical expert, you will provide guidance on workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements within Epic's Access & Revenue modules.Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be certified in at least one of the following Epic Applications: Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Registration, Scheduling Referrals, Care Everywhere, Resolute, Professional Billing, Hospital Billion HIM, Welcome, Kiosk
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience implementing Epic systems in hospitals and health systems performing testing, configuration and validation to ensure functionality and data integrity
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and training
  • Skilled in the design and deliver of training programs for healthcare providers and staff on the use of Epic
  • Willingness and ability to travel weekly (typically Monday through Thursday) when necessary, however, at times you are required to provide high-level services remotely
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g. BA, BS)
  • Advanced reporting experience (Dashboard and Reporting Workbench)
  • Previous consulting experience
