Objective and Purpose:

The RCM Training Manager is responsible for overall RCM training for all field operations related to processes and procedures related to RCM best practices.  This includes roll-out plan creation for current and any future RCM best practice SOPs, training the field operations team on RCM best practices described in SOPs, ongoing training, managing ticket system for ongoing questions, designing BI dashboards to track adherence and progress of the training, monthly monitoring of the dashboards, reporting any issues to field Ops leadership, and training of all new affiliations as it relates to RCM best practices and SOPs.   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create rollout plan for RCM best practices SOPs.
  • Training of all field operations team members on the SOPs.
  • Provide ongoing training as needed in field operations.
  • Design ticketing procedures and processes for field Ops to submit ongoing questions about RCM best practices.
  • Responsible for daily maintenance of the ticketing system and responding to operations within 48 business hours.
  • Assist in the design of PowerBI dashboards to track and report SOPs process adherence.
  • Ongoing monitoring of dashboards to identify any trends or issues that indicate any inconsistencies with an office following the SOPs.
  • Reporting to field operations leadership on their respective practices, provide feedback, and solicit any questions on the reporting.
  • Design a training program that can be uploaded to the company Learning Management System for ongoing training and possibly design an internal “certification” that field operations can attain to show proficiency in RCM processes.
  • Responsible for RCM best practices training for all new affiliated practices and acting as an ongoing liaison for any questions.
  • Make any site visits, if necessary, that require hands-on training in the field.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of revenue cycle experience preferably with dental providers and payers
  • Knowledge of the revenue cycle and how billing and coding affect revenue
  • Thorough understanding of the claims process and associated policies and procedures related to best practices
  • Thorough understanding of payer policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements for payment
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, and Smart Sheets
  • Comfort and flexibility working in a fast-paced dental environment.
  • Proven track record of training outcomes and training design processes

Position Base Pay Range

$80,000$90,000 USD

Specialty1 Partners is the direct employer of non-clinical employees only. For clinical employees, the applicable practice entity listed above in the job posting is the employer. Specialty1 Partners generates job postings and offer letters to assist with human resources and payroll support provided to the applicable practice. Clinical employees include dental assistants and staff assisting with actual direct treatment of patients. Non-clinical employees include the office manager, front desk staff, marketing staff, and any other staff providing administrative duties.
