Revenue Forecasting Manager

C3 AI has an immediate opening for a Revenue Forecasting Manager located onsite at our headquarters in ­­­­­­Redwood City, California. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop revenue forecasts and medium and long-range financial plans, working in partnership with Leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to maintain and update the revenue forecast model and reflect accurate revenue recognition information in the revenue forecast on a real-time basis.
• Responsible for synthesis and presentation of forecast in a timely manner to key stakeholders on revenue metrics, revenue performance and projections on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Generate regular and periodic reports and analyses to track key performance indicators related to new customer acquisitions, expansions, churn, and contraction.
• Work with Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A and others to understand and model different revenue scenarios, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Take the lead in identifying areas for process improvements, automation and increased efficiency in revenue reporting and analysis.
• Assist the Revenue and Finance teams on revenue recognition matters, review of customer contracts, preparation of revenue accruals, financial reporting, and disclosure items and other ad-hoc matters.

 Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience working in public and private accounting, Big 4 experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field of study; CPA is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL etc.).
• Experience with high-growth companies, ideally in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) industry.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver results and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of general accounting concepts and ASC 606.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A data-driven mindset with a proactive approach.
• NetSuite experience, a plus.
