Revenue Integrity Analyst - CMG

Job Summary: The CMG Revenue Integrity Analyst (RIA) reports to the Manager of Revenue Integrity and Director of Corporate Reimbursement. The CMG RIA is responsible for managing, coordinating and implementing charge capture initiatives and processes to improve revenue management and revenue protection. Will act as a liaison to and coordinate with CMG offices to improve charge capture, decrease late charges and improve workflow. This position will play a pivotal role in moving the standard work process for the revenue cycle throughout CMG Medical Group. The CMG RIA will perform various audits providing results to the specified leadership and as a result will coordinate any corrective action plans. This role will also provide education and training related to charge capture and documentation to ensure timely and accurate revenue generation.

Qualifications: Associate degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management or other healthcare related field is required or a minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare experience. CPC or CPC-H is required or must be acquired within 1 year of hire. Prefer EPIC PB/HB experience. Have working knowledge/experience regarding public and private charging/billing guidelines as well as ability to research and keep abreast of any updates and changes. Has full understanding of the revenue management function and process. Detail oriented with ability to collect and analyze data. Excellent oral/written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and staff. Effective time management skills. Knowledge of performance improvement as well as the ability to facilitate change and achieve positive results. Proficient with web tools, databases, and Microsoft Office.
