The Opportunity

As part of this team, the Revenue Manager will support all aspects of the revenue cycle and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger that enables robust financial reporting. We are looking for someone who is excited to scale existing processes and systems to support Simpplr’s growth.

Your Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:
  • Review revenue contracts, modifications, and terminations to ensure revenue is recorded accurately and timely in accordance with ASC 606 requirements
  • Review invoices to customers to ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Prepare monthly revenue report and analysis 
  • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition and deferred revenue reconciliations 
  • An integral part of the sales process by working closely with the Revenue Operations team to ensure accurate financial data in Salesforce CRM and Netsuite
  • Prepare monthly partnership revenue share liability report for reconciliation with Salesforce
  • Create accounting requirements for cross-functional teams to ensure new revenue streams are properly accounted for
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the success of business partnerships
  • Prepare commissions expense analysis and disclosures in accordance with ASC 606
  • Drive process improvement and scale existing workflows to support Company growth
  • Implement controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with our revenue recognition accounting process
  • Support external audit and ad-hoc reporting requirements
Your SkillsetWhat makes you a great fit for the team:
  • 5-8 years of revenue recognition experience
  • 2+ years of NetSuite experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Detailed-oriented, meticulous with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Computer Skills
    • Experience working with Netsuite and Salesforce CRM
    • Proficient in Excel

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $100,000 - $140,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
