As the Revenue Manager reporting to the Director of Revenue, you will be a key contributor for revenue recognition, and other deal-related finance & accounting support for a rapidly growing technology company.
What you'll do:
- Partner with sales, sales operations, order management, FP&A, and legal teams to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment for all new product and service introductions, new pricing and promotional models, and new go-to-market strategies. Update revenue recognition treatment of existing product and service offerings, to stay up to date with future accounting pronouncements.
- Assist in the quarterly revenue forecasting process. Partner with members of other teams to ensure alignment on updated projections.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close related to Revenue, including hands-on responsibilities for deliverables.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls in collaboration with external auditors as needed.
- Manage projects related to financial systems and business processes, including RevPro transaction processing and RevPro systems enhancements.
- Be a change agent for implementing new ideas and process improvements in an increasingly complex environment.
What you've done:
- BS in finance or accounting.
- Big Four public accounting experience and an active CPA license preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in revenue; experience supporting sales operations and revenue forecasting highly desired.

- Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels.
- Experience in a fast changing, fast-paced multi-national company.
- Experience with working with systems: SalesForce, RevPro and Microsoft D365.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in the practical application of revenue recognition guidance for multiple performance obligations under ASC 606, including revenue recognition for hardware, software, and professional services.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $132,000 - $165,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefit programs, which may include health and other insurances such as life and disability, and savings accounts such as a retirement plan with company matching contributions or similar, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program.
