Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide a challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. This internship takes place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period.
The internship in the Mobile Solutions Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Sales department will provide an opportunity to learn about the Mobile Solution Division’s business. You will work on a variety of concurrent projects that aid our sales organization in deepening our understanding of markets, customers, and competitors. Projects may include work that is both analytical and creative in nature and will include building experience using common sales and business software like our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, data visualization tools, and customer experience collection software. You will also have an opportunity to work with a variety of people from different departments such as sales, product management, marketing, pricing, and customer operations.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Improving sales analytics and data-driven decision making
· Creating and training on sales enablement tools and processes
· Customer Relationship Management (CRM) utilization support
· Market intelligence gathering and analysis
· Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
· Process mapping of various sales related processes
Minimum Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled rising junior (current sophomore) or rising senior (current junior) in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in: Sales, Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Minimum 3.5 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
· Experience in Tableau, Power BI or similar software
· Energetic and curious self-starter who seeks innovative solutions
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Bilingualism in one of the following is a plus: Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish or Portuguese
· Desire to work in collaboration with a cross-functional, global team
