About the Role
 
The Revenue Operations Manager owns the customer billing cycle from sales order to cash collection, ensuring all customer data is recorded accurately in the ERP system. You will play a pivotal role in helping Fivetran scale and grow by identifying areas of opportunity for efficiency and automation. In addition, this position will require impeccable attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines. You will partner cross-functionally with various teams to develop and maintain best-in-class processes and controls to support the seamless execution of our billing and collections activities. 
 
What You'll Do
  • Oversee staff members and ensure the accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
  • Develop, monitor and report on key billing and collection metrics to Accounting leadership.
  • Create and implement a strategy with key business partners to improve the collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Develop and implement collection policies and procedures to effectively manage invoicing, payment and non-collection. 
  • Develop and implement the Company’s policy on doubtful accounts.
  • Training and mentoring of staff members in the billing and collections team.
  • Identify process improvements and assist in automation efforts to drive efficiency initiatives within the quote to cash business cycle as necessary. 
  • Oversee month-end close through timely completion of assigned journal entries and account reconciliations within the billing and collections team. 
Skills We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of Billing & Collections experience, including at least 2 years of managerial experience
  • Experience with a high-growth SaaS company.
  • You will demonstrate advanced Excel and system skills. 
  • You are meticulous and well-organized. You strive for precision and thrive in an environment of changing processes, working with multiple data sources, and driving multiple tasks to completion. This role is all about the details paired with thoughtful execution.
  • You are passionate about process, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills. Your approach is clear, thoughtful and service-oriented.
  • You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership over your work and that of the team.
  • You approach new learning experiences with confidence and curiosity.
  • You value working together and how you can contribute to the goals and success of the team and company. You have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required experience: Netsuite 
  • Preferred experience: Salesforce, Stripe, Avalara, Looker, AWS and GCP marketplaces, SaaS industry, SOX.
