What You Will Do

The Owner & Public Sector (O&PS) division, a rapidly expanding part of Trimble, is redefining industries with cutting-edge software, SaaS, and professional services. Our solutions bridge the physical and digital worlds through the power of the “digital twin.” Fueled by strategic acquisitions, O&PS is building something unique, with a focus across North America, including Colorado, Utah, Florida, and Texas.

We’re seeking an Accounting Professional to support our team with month-end processes, drive continuous improvements, enhance controls, and provide valuable insights to Finance and Business Operations

• Ensure monthly closing duties are performed by their deadlines, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing and distributing reports.

• Have a strong background with Revenue Recognition ASC-606.

• Reviews and conducts analysis, reports on discrepancies, and assists with the corrections of the monthly financial statements to ensure the correct statement of financial position.

• Performs and conducts analysis of balance sheet and other account reconciliations and supporting schedules, reports on discrepancies and assists in monthly account resolutions.

• Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of corporate accounting transactions.

• Assist with complex accounting items such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue and unbilled.

• Engage in digital transformation initiatives, contributing to testing, analysis, and post-implementation activities.

• Leverage AI and systems automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes, setting new standards for operational excellence.

• Collaborate with teams across North America, including the Corporate Revenue Recognition team, Corporate Consolidated Reporting team, and Digital Transformation team.

• Work closely with data/systems specialists to leverage technology in enhancing accounting processes.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• A BS/BA in accounting or related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Proficiency with ERPs and other systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, Salesforce

• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.

• A solid understanding of GAAP.
