The Role: Revenue Senior Accountant (Open to Location)
The Revenue Team is seeking a senior accountant to support our growing business. This person will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis/reporting associated with revenue recognition as well as determining accounting treatment for contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in accounting system software, monthly G/L close processes, financial analysis, and an understanding of advanced accounting principles (including ASC 606). This position will report to the Revenue Accounting Supervisor and will work with various teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Review contracts to understand revenue recognition implications and propose accounting treatment.
- Prepare monthly revenue journal entries, including revenue recognition, accruals, and adjustments.
- Manage selected balance sheet and income statement accounts, including performing monthly analytical review.
- Prepare various monthly and ad hoc reporting.
- Contribute to audit and tax preparation by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Drive continued process improvement to create repeatable and consistent best practices that enable scale.
- Handle special projects, as identified.
- Accounting experience for mid/large size, global or fast-growing companies or public accounting
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent subject area required, CPA or CPA-eligible
- Strong understanding of US GAAP & IFRS and ASC 606 preferred.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels and layers of the organization using exceptional communications skills.
- Experience with accounting and business systems, proficient with key Excel functions and functionality.
- Analytical skills - including the ability to identity, explain and communicate financial activities.
