Description

The Revenue Specialist directly interfaces with sales reps, internal staff members, and customers to research and update licensing in accordance with industry standards and company recommendations, as well as ensuring clients have access to appropriate licensure and software. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Revenue Specialist will also assist with procurement duties, client invoicing, and the overall customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:• Work closely with Sales, Strategic and Technical Service for licensing and services to meet customer needs.• Communicate with Sales, Strategic and Technical Service teams on migrations, licensing, and billing.• Work with SAMs to validate software license pricing, track SOW progress, and participate in the proposal creation and validation process.• Work with vendors to understand all product offerings.• Maintain current knowledge on trends in technology hardware and software; update the sales team as new information is learned.• Recommend process improvements to management as needed.• Continually update the standard workstation configuration options so that they reflect current vendor configurations.• Adhere to all standards and guidelines developed by the management team as well as the employee handbook.

Procurement Duties:• Process orders with vendors and follow up as needed for internal and external communication.• Assist the team by creating purchase orders on a timely basis.• Tracking product orders for both internal & external clients.

Client Invoicing:• Generate weekly product invoicing.• Generate monthly recuring client invoicing.

Education and Qualifications:• Associates degree in business or computer-related field preferred.• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical concepts and ability to prioritize and organize workload.• 2+ years of experience in technical customer service, order processing, and vendor management roles.• 1+ Experience with Microsoft licensing.• 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.• Excellent communication and customer service experience.

Compensation:

  • $40,000-$50,000 Annual Salary
  • Exempt

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, third parties, and teammates. Able to demonstrate confidence in high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.

Physical Requirements:• Ability to use computers daily in an interactive manner for extended periods of time, possibly exceeding 8 hours per day.• Ability to sit for an extended period.• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and up to 6 hours at a time.• Ability to travel as needed on occasion.• Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone, or by email.• Constant walking or motion to coordinate work and interact with co-workers.• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
