THE ROLE

We are hiring a Revenue Systems Manager who will take the lead on setting up systems for new properties and maximize the value of revenue earned on Mint House’s portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Management, the Revenue Systems Manager is responsible for listing properties across all online channels (ex. OTAs, Airbnb), collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team on commercial channels (GDS), and price rooms to maximize the value of revenue over time. In addition, this is a highly analytical role for driving analysis, compiling reports and developing models to support better decisions across the business. This role is fully remote, we set a location because some job boards require it.

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL
  • Define and operationalize the overarching pricing strategies and processes that the Revenue Team will apply in specific markets
  • Define and partner with others to build the key dashboards and reporting tools that will be used to monitor performance firm-wide and maintain data integrity 
  • Oversee our property listing & rate loading strategies and processes, with attention to increasing the return-on-investment of where we list (e.g., which OTAs) and how we list
  • Deliver and drive meaningful analysis that informs tactical pricing and revenue decisions to leadership team 
  • Assist in maximizing room revenue, profit, and market share by actively monitoring and analyzing prices and revenue data across multiple properties and markets 
  • Support Revenue team by assisting with strategy implementation by market and data entry operations of internal and external distribution channels
  • Ensures rooms, rate inventory is properly mapped, user management administration of revenue systems 
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between our various distribution platforms for multiple teams (Revenue, Reservations, ground teams) 
WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience with hotel distributions platforms or at least multi-property hotel revenue management experience 
  • We embrace technology and eager to learn new things; experience with SQL, R, Python, or related software is a plus 
  • Demonstrated interest in analyzing and presenting data; understands the importance of decisions made today and how those decisions will impact during future growth 
  • Able to garner insights from larger amounts of data to inform pricing decisions and revenue maximization strategies 
  • Proficient in Excel and familiarity with online booking channels and pricing tools 
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist 
  • Analytical and Data Driven - able to garner insights from large amounts of data to inform pricing decisions and revenue maximization strategies (Looker or Tableau is a plus)

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $95,000 

Mint Houses' compensation philosophy is driven by our company value of fostering inclusivity. To best ensure pay equity, we typically bring in fresh mints near the middle of our listed compensation bands and lead with the best overall compensation package (i.e. all people hired at the same experience & level are brought in at the same salary, equity, and benefits).
