RFID Engineer

Infosys is seeking RFID Engineer This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting Newark, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
RFID Engineer over 4 + years in Embedded software design & development
In-depth understanding and experience in RFID fusion algorithm development
Programming experience in Python, C/C++
Candidates should have hands-on experience on Containerization(Docker and Kubernetes) and Cloud technologies(AWS/Azure/GCP).
Good knowledge in Agile, Waterfall methodology and having very precise knowledge in all stages of Software Development (SDLC) models
Demonstrated problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills, having excellent communication, and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should have strong knowledge and work experience on GPU/CPU usage, load test, unit test, regression test
Good understanding on CICD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo).
Proficient knowledge on RESTful API and Authentication
Basic understanding of management tools (Jira, Bugzilla).

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
