The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Category Analytics Manager reports to the Senior RGM Category Manager serving as a key business partner and marketplace analytics expert for the local unit. This position supports the strategic development & execution of pricing, optimized portfolio, product and retailer mix to drive profitable growth for the enterprise. The role will leverage several internal and external data sources including Nielsen, third party analyses, and various customer POS data. The role will also act as a core member of the emerging analytics capability, work directly with the global analytics function, shepherd use cases and use experience and skills to create a more data driven environment

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree- Masters Preferred
  • 5+ years working experience and/or internship experience in analytics
  • Strong MS Office skillset
  • Experience with analytics packages (R, Python, SASS, etc.)
  • Advanced problem solving & analytic capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate information from various sources, analyze data, and make appropriate recommendations

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Key point of contact on price and promotional analytics for RGM team
  • Provide market and sales fundamental analytics to assist sales leadership assessment to drive decisions regarding risks & opportunities
  • Drive efficient assortment and SKU productivity analysis
  • Develop competitive landscaping models to track product launches, price changes, and pricing ladders across the pet category
  • Prepares and delivers profit, promotional and brand scorecards to internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver actionable insights across Pet Care KPI's on price, distribution, and promotion
  • Create analytical framework to drive trade investment budgets across the enterprise
  • Use technical skills with appropriate analytics applications to provide optimum level of support as well as act as analytics liaison to global digital foundations group (Business Objects, IRI Analyzer, Nielsen, R, Python, Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
