Rheumatologist

Capital Health is seeking a Rheumatologist 

Qualifications:  

• MD/DO Degree 
• NJ & PA licenses 
• Board certified/eligible in Rheumatology 
• 3+ years of specialty training from an accredited rheumatology program 
• 3+ yrs. of experience practicing as a Rheumatologist preferred 

Overview 

• Examine and diagnose patients with arthritis, joint pain and other musculoskeletal disorders
• Prescribe and administer medications, physical therapy and other treatments
• Perform joint injections, such as corticosteroid and viscosupplementation injections
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests 
• Provide education to patients and families regarding disease management
• Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient care
• Keep accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
• Participates in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner
